Corporate Social Responsibility

At Zack Marketing, Social Responsibility is an integral component of our corporate outlook, ethics, values and even our very existence.
  • Out of the 120 plus employees, a good part of them, especially the packing teams (comprising mainly of women work-force and also some differently abled personnel) and the junior staff who essentially come from some severely disadvantaged situations / backgrounds, are provided with gainful employment and we take pride in instilling a sense of purpose, dignity and identity in them.
  • We have also helped several of our current suppliers to jump-start their entrepreneurial operations and in the process have improved the quality of life index of theirs and their families, by several notches.
  • In fact, partly in recognition of some of these efforts, our MD, Mr. Zachariah Varghese, has been awarded the ‘Rashtriya Udyog Ratna Award’ in 2012 for National & Economic Growth through Individual Contribution.
  • Additionally, we also periodically pitch in and assist severely disadvantaged institutionalized inmates, such as HIV positive patients, mentally challenged girls, the destitute and dying abandoned elderly citizens, etc. through various established NGOs and institutions.
  • We have made a conscious stand and are pro-actively working towards offering almost all our supplies, with environment concerns in mind, wherever possible. These initiatives include, offering our clients with products, with minimal packaging, eco-friendly products, lead-free printing, azo-free dyes, paraben-free, etc.
  • During many national disasters, we try and pitch in our efforts, time, funds and much needed supplies, whenever / wherever possible. Recently, during the Kerala Floods, as a corporate entity, our staff members have directly distributed funds, food packets, mats, mattresses, school bags & stationery, bulk cleaning liquids, etc. as relief and rehabilitation measures to mitigate the suffering of the most affected economically backward victims. In solidarity, our entire staff have voluntarily sent a portion of their salaries / wages, to complement / supplement these operations.
  • A small percentage of the sales generated goes to different NGOs working towards the upliftment of the poorest sections of our society.
  • We had taken a conscious decision to replace all our vehicles that transport supplies to our clients, from petrol / diesel to CNG, to do our bit towards addressing pollution and environmental concerns.
